Jum Bak means anything that can be spread...from edible to non-edible...
Tiger balm, jum bak(for blueblack), mopiko, strawberry jam, peanut butter, butter..
It started with ah ma applying tiger balm for his mositoes bite, then jum bak for his blueblack wound...soon, everything that be spread by either using hand or spoon is consider jum bak to baby ze.
Yesterday, I brought my compnay quarterly gooddie bag home, and there is peanut spread inside the plastic bag. The 1st thing he does is take the peanut spread out and say "jum bak put table, ah boy eat with bread(in chinese)".....
