Baby Ze turn 6 mths on 1st Mar. Brought him for his last 5-in-1 injection and he is a brave boy, only cry when the needle is poke in and stop immediately when the needle is pulled out.
He is 67cm tall and weigh 7.1kg. Not that he is underweight, but PD say his weight gain is slow, for him it should be abt 7.5kg at 6 mths. Well, only 0.4kg, so hopefully he will catch up in the future.
6 mths mark another milestone for him. His 1st semi-solid food. I let him try the dumex sample of the rice cereal.

Did not expect that 1 tablepoon of cereal will make up to half a rice bowl after adding water. Of course, he cannot finish all, he manage to take abt 10 mouthful (baby spoon) which is very great.
Next day, papa make for him apple puree. Manage to take abt 5 mouthful. But apple turn sour very fast.
1st mouth of apply puree, Happy
See the bottom left hand corner of the photo, apple turn dark after 5 mins

You could steam the apples first! It will bring out the sweetness and it won't oxidize either. :) I use French Fuji apples. Very sweet and Jed loves it! French Royal Gala is not that sweet bust still better than a lot of other apples. :) I usually make a batch and store the rest in an ice cube tray. Do try!
thanks, next time i make apple puree, i will steam it 1st
